ABOUT THIS BOOK
Tactics picks up from where the best-selling Every Young Man’s Battle left off. If you still have kinks and chinks in your armor after reading EYMB, this second book of Fred’s trilogy should remove them. Tactics will expand your understanding about the spiritual front of this battle for purity, and will teach you how to complete your victory by gaining a tighter intimacy with your Father in Heaven, and with Jesus Christ.

REVIEWS
"I just finished reading Tactics! Thank you so very much! This book is so much more powerful than your first book (Every Young Man’s Battle). The one thing I learned that I cherish most is worshiping in song before praying—it really gives me a more rewarding conversation with our Lord when I pray. I learned so much about my physical and mental make up, too. Before, I thought I could control myself like I did when I quit smoking by carrying an open pack of cigarettes in my shirt pocket for six months until I realized I didn't need it anymore and threw it away. I have better strategies now after reading your book. I plan now on purchasing and distributing this book to a lot of guys I've talked to that have the same struggles I had."
"I just wanted to let you know that I am about three-quarters of the way through your new book Tactics. I grew up with little to no guidance from my father regarding sexual purity. I learned about sex through my friends, my girlfriends and on my own, and I struggled with masturbation from ages fifteen to twenty-four. I could not break the cycle until I threw myself before the Lord and, gratefully, I was miraculously delivered from that habit a short time before I met my wife (good timing, huh?). Trouble is that I have continued to have wandering eyes. I have read two of your previous books and maybe half-heartedly tried to bounce my eyes, even though I knew that my eyes were hindering my devotional time with the Lord. Since I have been reading Tactics, I have genuinely made an effort to not look at other women, and it has been easier than I thought it would be—I sure wish I’d have done so sooner. Old habits are hard to break, but you finally got my attention for real in this book. That part about being a “Peeping Tom” hit me right between the eyes. As for my time with the Lord, I am now following your example of how to praise and worship God from Tactics. You have taught me more about devotional time than anybody else that I know. Thanks."
"The book Tactics is messing me up. When I first picked it up to read it, I was on an airplane flying to Alaska. I began to cry, and I also found myself repenting for my generation. Then, after emailing you about the book, I received your email back to me today on my phone while I was at the city dump outside of town. I watched as men were looking through the garbage searching for anything of value, and I was amazed at what they were pulling out. It all smelled so bad, but it didn't seem to bother them. It reminded me of our world. We search through trash looking for anything of worth or purpose, but in the end, all we often have is trash. On the other hand, there are also men who look through the mess looking for anything that can be restored. Thank you, Fred, for going through the trash searching for the men who have thrown their purpose, families, and lives away and providing them with a renewed hope of restoration, while also providing them with the tools to achieve a right relationship with their Heavenly Father. I just wonder how many times we break the heart of God with our lives? Too many to count? Thank you for putting yourself on the line for those who cannot fight for themselves. Tactics is a Godsend to me and to a generation!"
